NASHVILLE - Lisa Wysocky's newest book, Horse Country: A Celebration of Country Music and the Love of Horses will be published October 14 by The Lyons Press. Charmingly designed and aptly named, Horse Country visits twenty-seven of country's biggest stars, inviting readers into the private world they share with some of their closest friends--their beloved horses.
A few of the stars featured in Horse Country include George Jones, Charlie Daniels, Lynn Anderson, Tanya Tucker, Brad Paisley, Willie Nelson, Heidi Newfield, Hal Ketchum, Chris Cagle, Eddie Montgomery, and Todd Fritsch. The stories are funny, touching, and uplifting. Each chapter includes personal photos of the artist with his or her horse, as well as photos of the star who shares the story.
