EASTON CORBIN SELF-TITLED MERCURY NASHVILLE DEBUT
SLATED FOR RELEASE MARCH 2

4-SONG EP INCLUDING TOP 20 SINGLE
"A LITTLE MORE COUNTRY THAN THAT" AVAILABLE NOW

NASHVILLE, TN - Easton Corbin's self-titled debut album is slated
for release March 2nd on Mercury Nashville. Recognized for his
unapologetically country sound and baritone drawl, he already has
a Top 20 hit to his name with introductory single "A Little More
Country Than That" which debuted in August.

"This song identifies who I am," the Trenton, Florida native says. "It
shows character and that's important where I'm from. You learn to
say 'yes, ma'am' and 'no, sir,' and to open the door for the ladies."

Like his heroes Keith Whitley, George Jones and Merle Haggard,
Easton stands for songs that are rooted in the present, but call to
mind simpler times. He wrote four of the eleven tracks and is
produced by Carson Chamberlain (Billy Currington). People
magazine named the newcomer to their "Buzz-Worthy" artist list last
fall and featured "The Way Love Looks", a track co-penned by
Easton, in their "Hot Songs" section.

Continuing to make the radio rounds, this week Easton will perform
in North Carolina, entertain at a St. Jude's event in Maryland and
make two stops in his home state of Florida. The remainder of the
month rounds out with visits for stations in Tennessee, Wisconsin,
Iowa and Virginia.

Growing up Easton spent much of his time on his grandparent's
cattle farm and as an active member of FFA and 4-H. He began
taking guitar lessons at age 15 and would practice every day for
hours when he got home from school, sometimes until his fingers
were raw, which paid off when he landed the lead guitar spot in a
local band. After earning a business degree through the College of
Agriculture at the University of Florida, he married and moved to
Music City. Shortly after, Mercury Nashville signed him and he quit
his job at Ace Hardware to pursue his lifelong dream.

Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush make up country duo Sugarland
who’ve sold over 8 million records since exploding onto the music
scene in ‘04 with Twice The Speed Of Life (“Baby Girl”/“Something
More”). Enjoy the Ride (“Want To”/“Settlin’”/“Stay”) quickly followed in
’06 and their third studio album Love On The Inside (“It Happens”/
“Love”/“All I Want To Do”/“Already Gone”) in July ’08, which
skyrocketed them to superstardom, drawing fans from all genres
and critics abroad. Sugarland is credited with co-writing all tracks
from all three albums and co-producing the last two. As a thank you
to their loyal fans, in Aug. ’09 the duo released Live On The Inside, a
CD/DVD set of live tracks, covers and footage from their tour. They’
ve performed in six European countries and headlined a U.S. tour
throughout ’09. They’ve received trophies from the Grammys,
American Music Awards, Academy of Country Music, CMT Music
Awards and the Country Music Association. Nettles was recently
chosen to perform for the Obama Presidential celebration, as well
as the duo for Oprah.  In August, ABC aired an hour-long network
special featuring the duo in their most beloved setting...on stage.
Their latest album Gold And Green, a 10-track holiday collection
consisting of half standards and half originals, all of which Nettles
and Bush co-wrote and co-produced was a Christmas sensation.
Most recently, the duo received a nomination for “Best Country

Happens” at the 2010 Grammy Awards.
