Ivan and Sam Foundation Moves to Nashville
The Ivan and Sam Foundation, a one-of-a-kind national resource organization for children with cancer. Ivan and Sam is a national organization
offering resources and hope for children with cancer and their families. Eighteen-year cancer survivor and acclaimed singer-songwriter Karen
Shayne founded Ivan and Sam in 2002 after being deeply moved by the difficulty a young boy and his family faced with cancer diagnosis and
treatment. During the past few months, leading Nashville business and music industry professionals included Ty Herndon (photographed below)
have volunteered their time and talents to help develop a children’s animated video series, an accompanying music CD, and other educational
materials and resources. The Ivan and Sam Foundation shares offices with Rogue Enterprises and Lee Davis Studios on Music Row. For more
