BENEFIT CONCERT AND AUCTION FOR INJURED METRO POLICE OFFICER DANITA MARSH The Nashville Palace in corporation with the Nashville Metro Police Department hosted a benefit . All proceeds and donations from this event will go to The Danita Marsh Fund to build or buy a special needs home for her and her 9-year-old son. The North Precinct is accepting donations for the auction. On October 27th, 2006 Officer Danita Marsh was shot multiple times in the line of duty while answering a domestic violence report. As a result of the shooting, Officer Marsh is paralyzed from the waist down. Items available for auction include autographed guitars by Vince Gill and Amy Grant, Kenny Chesney, Hank Williams Jr., and many others. Additional items available for bidding include Gift Certificates to five-star restaurants and hotels, airline tickets to anywhere in the continental U.S., and much, much more. There will also be live performances by your favorite country Music legends including: Ferlin Husky, Dallas Frazier, Leona Williams, T. Graham Brown, Freddie Weller, Ron Gaddis, James Dixon and the Blue Lights, Stonewall Jackson, Ray Pillow, Anita Anderson, Ron Williams, John Stone and other special guests.
