Natchez Trace Records has announced the signing
of acclaimed Country Music act Fanny Grace.

The new label plans to release the record later this spring.
Fanny Grace's debut for the label, Rise and Shine,  was
produced by John Carter Cash at the Cash Cabin Studios
in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
"The times I spent in the studio with Fanny Grace were
some of the best timesI have ever had in the studio," said
Cash. "Paul and Carmen are energetic, good people, true
to their hearts and unfaltering.
"I see them accomplishing anything they set out to do,"
he continued. "They are a force to be reckoned with in the
music world."
Country Music Legend Merle Haggard echoed the praise
for Fanny Grace, saying "They're the real deal. They
played in tune, sang in tune and they got real good tunes."
Fanny Grace - Paul Reeves and Carmen Mejia - have
built a solid reputation for their six previous independent
releases.  "An engaging sound bolstered by Mejia's earthy
spirited vocals and the seasoning that comes from years
of experience," wrote Billboard Magazine.  "(Their music) is
a deft celebration of friendship and Southern culture."
³This album is a tasty country stew made from
well-seasoned ingredients like rockin¹, up-tempo and
lyrical ballads,² said  Natchez Trace President and former
Nashville Jazz Club Owner Ed Bigler.  "I'm confident that
the collaboration of Fanny Grace with John Carter Cash, is
a project that will prove a worthwhile maiden voyage for
our new label."
