The problem with the word "ultimate" is that something is going to be left out that happens to be one of your favorites. It's like "Greatest Hits" and "The Best Of." For me. it was that delicious duet with Trisha, "Squeeze Me In." However, I must own up to nitpicking. This is an excellent coverage of the first phase of Garth's career and the start of part two. This is, of course, at #1 ans the more remarkably so because it is only available through WalMart. DEFINITELY THE ALBUM OF THE MONTH.

Trisha's debut CD for Big Machine is an excellent affair. However, it may be too good. Country music has gone on to a greater level of mediocrity and quality may be hard to sustain. One can only hope. The only negative thing about the CD is the photography. Why were such unflattering photographs chosen and why did the package designer chop off fingers?. Trisha is not an amputee!! That apart, this is Trisha's best CD in an illustrious career.

Jeremy is managed by .P. Williams who looks after Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and the other Blue Comedy comedians. He is also the first artist to be released on J.P.'s Parallel label. In addition, Jeremy is represented by Bobby Cudd at Monterey Peninsular Artists and has Vanessa Davis . All of this is good for a fledgling artist. However, Jeremy's best asset is the fact that he is a damn fine singer, a damn fine writer and HE IS COUNTRY. I am gonna go out on a very stable limb and say, Jeremy McComb is going to be up there in 2008. He is in the same real country area as Luke Bryan and Rodney Atkins AND I LOVE IT!!
