CMG Records' CEO Steve Riley announced today the opening of three
new CMG regional offices. In making the announcement Mr. Riley
stated, “I believe there is a lot of opportunity for indie labels today. It’s all
about innovation and diversity. There is a wealth of great new artists
and their fans out there that are being over looked by the majors and
our mission is to assist these artists in the long term development of
their career’s. We believe that one way to connect with new talent is by
being easily accessible to them. We feel the three new offices will help
to accomplish this. It is our goal to have at least 8 new regional offices
around the country by the end of 2007.”

The new premier CMG label currently has an attractive and diverse
group of signed artists. They are main stream country artists, Perry
Ashley, Dennie Hall, Country Blues legend Razzy Bailey, Southern
rocker Charlie Tatman, and the Alternative rock group Bone Yard Six.
Riley said he hopes to continue signing worthwhile and deserving new
talent regardless of the genre of their music. “If they are a working act
and have a fan base we want to know about them.”  By signing a variety
of artists of different musical styles and implementing modern
marketing techniques, the label is quite confident of their future in the
music industry.
